PDU family MPD 250 includes a 2U recessed chassis and is designed for single phase 230VAC power.
Overcurrent protection is provided by one or more circuit breakers. Equipment faults can cause excessive power to be pulled from facility power lines. This can damage the equipment and power cabling. The circuit breaker in the PDU protects downstream equipment by opening the power line if too much current is being consumed.
